Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2, 2026. Effective date: July 2, 2026.

Inverter HQ (“we”, “us”, “our”), operated by Inverter HQ, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect at https://inverterhq.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have. This policy is governed by the laws of India.

1. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, and message when you use our contact form, leave a comment, or subscribe.
  • Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 3 and our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use your information

We use it to operate and improve Inverter HQ, respond to your messages, moderate comments, understand how the site is used, secure the site against abuse, and — once advertising is live — serve relevant advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use: essential cookies (site function and security), preference cookies (remembering your settings and consent choices), analytics cookies (see Section 4), and advertising cookies (see Section 5). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working. In the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, and other regions that require it, non-essential cookies are only set after you consent through our cookie-consent banner, which is managed by Complianz. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using that banner.

4. Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymized usage of Inverter HQ. Google Analytics sets cookies and may process your IP address in truncated or anonymized form. When enabled, it is loaded only after you consent (where consent is required). Learn more at Google’s Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Analytics is not currently active on every part of the site and may be added later; this section describes how it will operate when it is.

5. Advertising — Google AdSense and third-party vendors

Inverter HQ plans to display advertising through Google AdSense. Advertising is not yet live at the time of this update; this section describes how it will work once it is enabled, and it applies as soon as ads begin serving.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to Inverter HQ and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
  • Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ (US) or https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ (EU).
  • A current list of Google’s certified ad-technology providers is available at https://support.google.com/admanager/answer/9012903. Inverter HQ does not currently participate in any affiliate programs.

6. Server log files

Like most sites, our servers automatically record standard log data (IP address, browser, ISP, referring and exit pages, and timestamps). This is not linked to personally identifiable information and is used for aggregate trend analysis, site administration, and security.

7. Children’s privacy (COPPA)

Inverter HQ is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it. We instruct our ad partners to treat this content as non-child-directed.

8. Your rights under the GDPR (EEA/UK)

If you are in the EEA or UK, our legal bases for processing are: consent (analytics and advertising cookies), legitimate interest (site security and improvement), and contract or legitimate interest (responding to your enquiries). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, and object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Your rights under the CCPA/CPRA (California)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money; certain advertising-cookie activity may be considered “sharing” under the CCPA/CPRA once ads are live — you may opt out via our cookie banner or by emailing [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

10. How to opt out (summary)

11. Data retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

12. Third-party links

Our site links to external sites we do not control — manufacturer datasheets, standards bodies, and reference material among them. This policy does not apply to them; review their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; changes take effect when posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be highlighted.
