Inverter HQ is an independent solar education site. To keep the guides free, some of the pages on this site contain affiliate links. This page explains, in plain terms, what that means for you.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a special link to a product or service. If you click it and later buy something, we may earn a small commission. The price you pay stays exactly the same. The commission comes from the retailer, not from you.
How we choose what to recommend
A commission never decides what we recommend. We suggest inverters, panels, batteries, and tools based on real specifications, safety, value, and how they perform for the kind of homeowner or installer who reads this site. If a product is not worth your money, we say so, affiliate link or not.
Programs we may participate in
Where relevant, Inverter HQ may take part in affiliate programs run by retailers and manufacturers, including large marketplaces. When we do, the arrangement follows that program's rules and this disclosure applies to those links.
Advertising
This site may also display advertising. Ads are separate from our editorial recommendations and do not influence which products we cover or how we rate them. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising and cookies work here.
Your trust matters
We would rather lose a sale than lose your trust. If you ever feel a recommendation was not honest, tell us and we will look into it. Reach the team any time at [email protected].
